Food
All our food is homemade from fresh ingredients. We make every effort to buy British Produce and use local suppliers where possible.
Our butchers are Jackson Brothers of Oban who supply local, free range meat.
Our fruit and Vegetables along with Dairy products are delivered twice a week by MacGregors of Killin.
Your egg at breakfast may well come from one of our “girls”. We have Black Rock Chickens which are free range and roam about the garden all day.
Breakfast…
…is usually between 7am and 8.30am, If you need an earlier time, please ask and we will try to accommodate you. (The earliest breakfast yet has been 4am but we wouldn’t like to make a habit of it!)
Evening Meals…
…are usually by prior arrangement, an example of which:
- Starter:
Soup and roll, Smoked Salmon, Roasted Vegetable tart, Pate
- Main Course:
Salmon, Beef In Stout, Fish Pie, Lasagne, Chicken and Vegetable pie, Mushroom Risotto, Roast dinner
- Desserts:
Lemon Tart, Cranachan, Sponge Pudding and Custard, Cheesecake, homemade Ice cream, Chocolate brownies, Cheese and Biscuits
All 3 courses for £15 or 2 for £12.
For those of you off to the pub, snacks are available until 6.30pm
We are not licensed, however if you fancy a tipple please feel free to bring your own. There is a fabulous selection of wines, beers and whiskies in the Green Welly Stop.
