Many thanks to all of you lovely guests who have sponsored me for the Great Scottish Run.
I trudged my way round the course with a stinking cold in the rain (no surprise there). Probably the only runner to smell of 5 full Scottish breakfasts dished up before I left for Glasgow!
No personal best for me this time although because of my cold I did manage an amazing 194bpm heart rate so at least one record broken if nothing else.
Hopefully I’ll have better luck and better weather for the Oban Half in October.
Thanks again for your donations and well wishes.
(My race time for those of you who are interested was 1:56:24 a whole 4 mins slower than last year!)

How proud were we to find that the first and second finishers at the Devil o the Highlands race on Saturday 8th August stayed with us the night before! Craig Stewart came in first in just over 5 hrs and 34 mins and Paul Hart finished second some 6 minutes later. Fantastic result from both of them and they have our complete admiration!

At 21:00 hrs today Mr. Craig Dearden Webmaster elite saved the day again by overcoming adversity and Giant mice to get the ‘Glengarry Site’ ready for the end of the season..
